Incured Risk

They all directly and unconcealed looked at the camera, as if butter would not melt in their mouthes, and thought to be miles above all the people. If they had arrested them instead of just photographing them, they could have prevented their dark intention from the beginning. The 40 rogues all obtained their ideas from different books, which they read, why they were detained most of the time. They wanted to free the people from the banks with the money the people payed in at the banks. But because the people didn't want to give their money to them, they robbed the money from the banks and freed the people from their money. Men and women barricaded the entries of their houses and dwellings, housewives baked with a rolling pin, men smoked furs with big flame, pensioners entrenched themselves in their garden plots and cleaned their garden furniture with sharp blades, clergymen feared for their praying, penitential rogation, and thanking processions in field and forest.

But ready for combat and certain of victory as We were, We were facing up the harassment of these 40 robbers everywhere calmly. We knew too well how We would have got hold of them, if they would have had their insufficiency under control and introduced themselves to Us. Our mind and Our tongue were sharp as Our finger- and toenails, Our cry as loud as frightening, Our acton knitted by mother was as stiff and firm as the iron armor of Our decision. Just a quote would have been enough to let them debate, arguing, walloping and shooting each other and going to hell, while the heaven was opening and the trumpets sounding. But no single of these rogues had dared to meet Us anytime. So far Our fame already had got around. So terrible was their fear. So these imps had to fear for their lives every day.

Then We saw, that the time had come, to verify the knowledge that had been taught Us. We had heard, that in the New World were little monkeys, which looked like little pussycats with a shaved face, furthermore that they in gangs as bold as brass in the jungle would jump around in the trees, take a bite of their fruits and after a bite chuck the fruit carelessly on the ground. Such We didn't want to accept by hearsay, but see with Our own eyes. Our inquiries yielded that at Our place such little pussymonkeys to the people's amusement were held and shown behind lattices.
