Users Rights

In general persons who are data subjects with limitation or exception in certain cases determined by law of which some are described in this category have the following rights referring to their personal data:

• Section 34 FDPA icw Article 15 GDPR
  Right to information for example about "whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed and ... access to the personal data", "the purposes of the processing", "the categories of personal data concerned", "the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed", "the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or ... the criteria used to determine that period", "where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source"
• Article 16 GDPR
  Right to rectification or completition of their personal data
• Section 35 FDPA icw Article 17 GDPR
  Right to erasure of their personal data
• Article 18 GDPR
  Right to restriction of processing their personal data
• Article 20 GDPR
  Right to data portability, that means to transmit their personal data provided to the controller to another controller "in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format ... without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided"
• Section 36 FDPA icw Article 21 GDPR
  Right to object, "at any time to processing of personal data concerning him or her which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1), including profiling based on those provisions"
• Point (d) of Article 13(2) and point (e) of Article 14 (2) GDPR
  Right to complain about offences aganist data protection law to a supervisory authority
